 Children's Sunday School

We believe in empowering this generation with the Word of God and building a firm foundation from early stages in life. We have a vibrant Sunday School Ministry reaching out to children up to age 13.  The classes are broken down according to age groups, and after the age of 13, they graduate to the Youth Ministry.  Our teachers are dedicated to the children.  The classes are broken down as follows:

Nursery:  Birth to 18 months              Toddlers:  18 months to 4 years

Sunday school:  Ages 5-13 in groups as follows:

Age 5-6, Age 7-8, Age 9-10, and Age 11-13

We welcome you to bring your children to this ministry.

Food Pantry

The people will ask Him, “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?” Jesus will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ (Matthew 25: 37-40).

The IGF food pantry is an out-reach ministry of IGF that provides the free distribution of food to any member of IGF who has a legitimate need of assistance.  In addition, this ministry will be an out-reach ministry to the community of Windsor (and its surrounding towns) to minister to the needs of any family with similar needs. Our ultimate purpose is to transform the lives of the recipients, volunteers and donors towards a deeper relationship with the One who provides for every need, Jesus Christ.

Angel Food Ministry

What is Angel Food Ministries?

Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non denominational organization dedicated to providing food relief to communities throughout the USA.  IGF is proud to be a food distributor for this ministry.  Orders and payments are collected by IGF by the 2nd Friday of each month by 5pm. More information is available at the church.

Intercessory Prayer

Prayer must be the foundation of every Christian believer. Prayer is fellowshipping with the Father and God moves as we pray in faith, believing. Jesus is our example as He was always in prayer. If Jesus found it necessary to pray and to pray often then we must also.  It takes time to pray and yet it is our responsibility to pray.

Prayer is an armour for every believer, every member of the Body of Christ.  We always pray to the Father in the name of Jesus through the Holy Spirit according to the Word of God. Prayer is not a religious form without any power.

The purpose of this ministry is to come together collectively to pray every Tuesday evening at 7:00pm.  We hope to instil the importance as well as the desire to pray individually by setting aside time to pray.  It is our desire to encourage others to pray and believe for their families and communities as well as coming together to agree as a body for those with needs.  We have a weekly prayer meeting.

Library Ministry

Our church library has a collection of books, DVD’s, VHS tapes and audio cassette by various authors and ministers.  This literature is on a variety of topics such as Christian living, parenting, prayer, marriage, single hood, finances and materials for all age groups.  These items are available for check out to IGF church members for a maximum of four weeks at a time. Check out times is Sunday’s right after the service at the Library.

Shelter Ministry

Members of the Shelter Ministry prepare, cook, and serve dinner once a month to approximately 100 residents of the South Park Inn Homeless Shelter in Hartford.  The meal is typically scheduled on a Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  The residents at the shelter are always very grateful for the food we serve and those who serve always feel blessed to have done so.  See Ray Coppola for further details.

Shelter Outreach

International Gospel Fellowship does a bible study at South Park Shelter in Hartford every Thursday night at 7:30pm.  The purpose of this time in God’s word is to proclaim God’s truth to the lost and to communicate what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We also have a burden to pray for, and encourage believers who maybe experiencing tough times and need the comfort of God’s Word and the prayers of the saints.   We know God can do exceedingly, and abundantly more than we can ask or think in the lives of those we minister to.  We also have monthly feeding ministry at the same shelter.

Tribe of Nations

The main purpose of this ministry is to bring glory to God the Father through dance and engage the congregation in worship and praise to Him and Him alone. The Holy Spirit is the vehicle through which the anointing of God is imparted to the congregation as we worship Him in dance.

Through this anointing the fellowship of believers is united as one nation, giving praise to His Name, creating an atmosphere for Him to dwell among us and inhabit our praises as He sees fit.

There are many other ministries in the church that help in fulfilling the mission and calling of IGF.
